hmm. i never complained about them talking . and i dont think that mabber was complaining either. he was simply giving a possibly reason as to why Griffin did that last dunk.

oh, and i dont see how he can be a wannabe All-Star forward, considering he has been an all-star for 5 straight years, and has made All-NBA teams 6 straight years (two straight 1st team appearances as well). he finished 3rd in MVP voting 2 straight years, as well as a finals appearance. thats a pretty solid resume so far, considering he is just now reaching his prime.
Quoting how re ed you are again.... talking about Josh Howard still...

You must not be listening hard enough. Avery trash talks in press conferences (he veils it with terms like "bear-hug", but still does). You need to watch Howard and Stack more closely next time - they might not be as loud as Dirk or Tim Thomas, but they're definitely in the ears of opponents.
I hear everything on the court at my end. Unless you're saying that Josh & Stack only talk trash on the one side of the court Not even sure where you're getting the Avery talks trash crap? He might complain from time to time about calls (what coach doesn't?) but he certainly doesn't talk any trash during the game or in any press conferences.

Side notes...Stockton & Malone ed about calls more than any players I've ever seen play. I even remember them continually whining about calls during a preseason game I was at in Dallas.

Larry Bird talked as much or more trash as any player that I've seen play to date. Yes, I'm old. I lived in Boston during high school back when Bird was drafted and played his 1st couple of seasons. I used to go with my dad to games (corporate tickets on the floor) and Bird ran his mouth a lot.

Oh, I know about all those guys - Barkley used to talk for the Suns, etc. I don't know how close you are down there, but from my seat in front of the television I've seen Howard/Stack mouthing things before (maybe just whispers). I'll be close to the Suns bench at the Rockets game tomorrow, so we can compare notes.
