Like I've said since before the season, Beno is a shooting guard. He can play decent off the ball. As a point, he doesn't have the handles, defense or the mentality necessary to play the position.
Butler plays like Pop is going to kill him if he makes any mistake. He's lost a lot of weight so you can tell he's having trouble figuring out how to bang without being 30 pounds heavier than everyone. He desperately needs some court time somewhere to figure it out. Summer league is going to be huge for him.
Hopefully the Spurs can show up tomorrow against Detroit.
Butler is thinking about scoring too much to do anything else on the floor.
they weren't a subpar team, they were a gutter team
But now can they show the same kind of play against the east's best team? and my theory on it:since its a back to back, no, but they will put up a good enough game and win.
no they wont
Tomorrow Aie Aie Aie
Utah won sans Boozer, Houston won w/o Yao, Lakers won w/o Odom...I got scared in the 1st 4 minutes of the 3rd Q i thought the Nets wins with no Kidd

I can't wait to see him vs. the Mavs, maybe he can guard Dirk!?
Yeah! He's so skinny now he's our long small forward!
speaking of Mavs i don't understand why they struggle against the Bucks when Redd isn't even playing...
The Pistons are hot right now. I have a feeling we're gonna get smoked tomorrow in our current state. Back to backs against good teams = doom.
I think we will be in the game with a shot down the stretch Spurs need to try and head home on a positive note.
They always seem to struggle in Milwaukee. They were lucky to win that game. They had to shut down the Bucks the last 7+ minutes w/o a basket just to win.
Congrats Spurs! I wish I could have seen the game, but I am very happy about the win. I prayed.![]()
The Spurs were obviously in a different frame of mind tonight, a lot of movement, really trying a higher energy level.
They were a little out of control though, pushing too hard, like a lot of the movement and passing was kinda mindless and overdone, but too much movement is better than stagnation.
They beat a sub-.500 EC POS that had key players absent, so I guess we can't be picky.
