Don't forget Barkley had longer legs than Bavetta. And I think him being an athlete did a lot to help . I t's not Barkley wasn't always fat and chunky. So if Bavetta were racing a regular lard-ass couch potato, it'd probably be a lot different.

neither were going very fast, that's for sure. The clock was right around 5.2 seconds for Barkley's first down the court sprint, and that's a little more than 31 yards. And he was winning.
