Dirk cannot even carry a team when his team is so deep and not injured like last year. At least Nash works with less and does wonders. I would like to see Dirk work with what we had for the playoffs last year or better yet, let's see Jason Terry try doing what Nash has done without Amare and with Raja on one leg. are you dumb? when you talk about the mavs, you are talking about sentient, living individuals, right? so, logic would dictate that you have to have some players to talk about when making a statement like "the mavs are great." it's obvious that when making a statement like "the mavs are great" that we aren't talking about the ballboy or the ticket saleswoman or the color commentary guy. so, if a player is out, then that will obviously have some impact on the team as a whole and thus impact the statement that "the mavs are great" anyway, i never said the mavs were great but since you put your foot in your mouth once again, i will respond. the mavs are great and when several guys are not available to play ball, the guys that are on the team must pull through and play well enough to win the game...and they did that, so yes, it's a great thing to accomplish, not to have to rely on one guy for the win, which the mavs do a lot less than the suns....because they are greatness personified. ok, that last part was the beer.
