Yeah ok cause no foul was called it wasn't one. There are TWO fouls on that play...one where contact is made with Dirk's left shoulder and one across his left wrist. Now kindly off

I disagree about Ginobli. His insane flopping puts other players at risk of injury as well. Plus both Duncan AND Ginobli grabbed STAT's leg in that game. The dude is trying to come back from an injury and THREE Spurs players make a point of either grabbing or kicking his leg? Was it part of Pop's game plan to try and take STAT out? It's a good thing Amare remained stationary during those plays or his season could have been over.
But Bowen is really in a league all his own. Dirtiest player in the NBA and it's obviously rubbing off on his teammates.
Kudos to the classy Spurs fans who are acknowledging this skullduggery and demanding it stop. If I were from San Antonio I'd rather my team be remembered as a champion rather than a pack of sneaks and reprobates. Better to lose with honor than win with dirty tricks that put other players at risk.
If he isn't a Spurs fan then why does he have them as his team? I think he is just being honest. What Raja did to Kobe was uncalled for and I thought he got what he deserved for that kind of action on another player. It is alright to not be a homer you know.
Amare didn't get a call on that play because he didn't bother to try to go get the ball. It's not a foul if it doesn't impede the play; when Amare chose not to move, Crawford did the right thing in making no call.
One irony, of course, about that play in the context of this discussion, was watching Amare complain to the official all the way back up the court, including pointing two fingers at his eyes and then to the official.
But it's really only the Spurs who whine.
i am to a spurs fan!! but i hate it sometimes when people are so damn buyist and dont realize that even spurs players do bad things at times
ATTENTION TO ALL SPURS FANS...NOT EVERY SPUR IS A CLASSY LITTLE ANGEL LIKE WE ALL WANT THEM TO BE!!! WE LIVE IN A REAL WORLD!!!
AND U ASSHOLE... I AM TO A SPURS FAN...spurs in 5 es

Or, were just playing along....I like the SunsDynasty impersonator, myself.![]()
But if Amare does turn to try to get the ball there, Manu twists Amare's microfracture knee out of alignment...eh, whatever.
"He was just kind of out of control," Stoudemire said. "I mean, Bruce Bowen's normally under control, but he ran directly into me. I said, 'Man, you're going to get somebody hurt out here. He was like, 'Shut up." I was like, 'Man, I'm just giving you some cautions. You're going to get somebody hurt.' But he wasn't hearing it. . . . Bruce Bowen, who's a two-time champion, should have more class than that."
What an immature punk amare is. Thank you Bruce for telling the little to shut up. A far as class, yeah sure dude ok.
What was the excuse in 2005 and 2006? Its ALWAYS something with this team. d'antoni needs to show these idiots what accountability is, whoops thats like asking rush limpballs to quit taking drugs.
no ? i think ur a in liar....how do u kno that??
can u prove that??
He did well with Marbury at point guard, so this is just incorrect.
And if that happened, Manu is ripe for a very long suspension. The point, though, is that you don't get a foul called for standing still while someone else is holding onto you. That happens all the time in the NBA, and it's never called. I realize that the play has somehow become some sort of mantra for many Suns fans to rely upon as proof that the NBA officials favor the Spurs and are out to get the telegenic Suns, but it was a correct call -- one that's made every night in every game in some form or another.
Are you suggesting that whether or not a play is a foul should depend on the health history of the players involved?
Amare played 2 seasons without Nash.
In his 1st season he was voted ROY.
In his 2nd season he averaged 20 ppg, 9 rpg, 1.6 bpg, and shot 47.5% from the field.

ok and for people to say he did not kick amare..look at the end of the video amare limps a bit and is like wtf just happend??? did this really do this?
2005 you guys beat us in a great series. 2006 we were in the western conference finals against the Mavs. Where were the Spurs?
I think some fans get too carried away with this stuff. Look the NBA is not exactly thrilled with the prospect of another Spurs/Pistons Finals rematch. If anything the League will be doing cartwheels if the Suns end up eliminating the Spurs and the Pistons losing in the East Finals to either the Cavs or Nets. That series while I watched all 7 games was not exactly exciting to anyone except basketball junkies like me.
Why would the Suns care about that? They need to stay healthy for the next round.
And yes, when a player is wrapped around the opponent's leg JVG-style, that's a foul regardless of the players or their health history.
OK, now I'm really done.
On ESPN - Sportscenter just now
I'm paraphrasing what he said:
"I would NOT call Bruce Bowen a dirty player due to the fact that I was also called a dirty player. Offensive players will say that because your're stopping them from doing what ever they want to do". He also said teams win with players like Bruce Bowen.
Its called DEFENSE little whiny es. Just STFU and play!!!!
