Splitter. Meh. I was hoping for a backup PG. We still have the 35. Maybe we go small or SF there. Koponen at 35?
he will never play will he

The Spurs will bring him over after next season when they have a roster spot for him. It's Spurs as usual, we'll see if it works out.
byars might still be there at 33, same with all the pgs... you got the fin, pruitt, and green all there with only 4 picks to go
Tiago is short for SanTiago, St. James?
Tiago Splitter PF/C from Brazil, another foreigner
okay i want to hear a feedback from Sequ![]()

What the ? Why can't they have taken a kid out of college to help them right away? Why this guy who won't probably every play here? This makes no sense at all. You are telling me at 28 there was not one kid out of college worth taking that could help the Spurs.
The reserve PG for this season to replace Beno comes with 33
c'mon three picks....
its not going to happen is it?
Splitter is quite possibly BPA...
The 33ed pick should be interesting -if it is another big, it's time for Oberto and Bonner to pack their bags...
The spurs are assembling the best team not in the nba.
2 More to go - Green or Byars with 33.
awesome! another draft pick wasted on a euro who will never play for the spurs! way to go spurs!
splitter mahinmi scola....
F'n A!!! i wanted koponen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Spurs were right to pass on Kopernon
Splitter is a very poor free-throw shooter, hitting barely over 50 percent of his attempts. His shooting range is limited and his accuracy is inconsistent.

Great just what we need....![]()
keep dreaming. he'll never be in a spurs uniform.
I think people are terribly over-reacting. This is a very solid pick when you step back and look at the current roster and the players still available for #33. He's Brazilian, not a Euro btw.
Do the Spurs have to pay the buy out?
don't really see to many can't miss prospects when we picked at 28. Splitter was the right choice... best part is that we don't have to sacrifice the 2008 plan with a 3 year deal! Love it more and more.
All I wanna hear is, "With the 3rd pick in the 2nd round, the San Antonio Spurs select Taurean Green from the University of Florida."
Did Byars kill somebody today or something? What am I missing here?
So for those of you that wanted a guy on the roster and under contract being paid guaranteed money for the next three years, who did you want to see him replace, and how do you get rid of that player?
LMAO
I can't believe Splitter was still on the boards.
You stupid s sound just like the guys that were ing when we took Manu.
