I think Pop realized Manu was leading the run in the third with smallball and Oberto, so he saved him to start the 4th quarter while Manu rests.
Logically, I can accept that the Spurs will have losses, even bad losses. And I can accept that such losses highlight poor play and weaknesses and make them better in the long run. And I can logically accept that losing a game early in the season is better than in the playoffs and that's good.
But emotionally - does it have to be so painful?? This is just pitiful.
