My building is scheduled for an appraisal between 1:00 and 4:00 PM.

The rental agreement for my apartment states that anyone entering the property for maintenance or inspection will not be held responsible for making sure pets don't get out, etc. So it's required that people with animals either have them boarded for the day, or be home when the appraiser comes.
