    20 in a row!!!
    whats impressive about this game:
we have no low post presense, Atlanta has an athletic frontcourt, all of their lucky shots went in, we were ice cold from everywhere.... AND WE STILL GOT DA WIN!

they played good for a crap team.

You're going to have off nights on the offensive end, but you can always play defense. We won because we shut them down.

Looking ahead to the Lakers. We had a crappy off night but still got the win. Gotta bring our "A" game for the Lakers though. Landry will be back and that's a huge factor.

care to explain why he coach the Knicks to the finals?
and if someone shoots 29% 3-pters IN PRACTICE (cough V-Span cough), u aint getting any play-time in any nba team
I am not sure if that stat was planted or if he's that terrible a 3 pt shooter all the time. Of course, Tony Parker sucked at 3 pt shooting and he's a lot like Vspan in terms of slashing and dribbling plays. Kidd shoots a terrible 3 ptr too. Van Gundy making Vspan into a spot up 3 point shooter was one of the biggest idiot move knowing full well that the guy doesn't play that way. That's like asking Jason Kidd to be a spot up 3 pt shooter duh!

I dont know if you visit CF.net alot but someone posted a shooting PRACTICE stat last yr and it shows that V-Span is shooting in the 20s from 3-pt land

reasons why the defending champ spurs did not pick him up? you cant be a nba point guard shooting in the high TWENTIES from 3-pt land, especially when you got yao clogging the lane.

he is a poor man version of Skip-To-My-Lou, prolly on the level of Smush Parker

Yeah? Well here's a list of NBA guards that shoot less than 30 percent from 3 pt range. Hmm maybe Vspan is in good company there. Tell ya what, I'll even highlight some starting guards here. You picked out one scrimmage game...hmm very statistically relevant...not.

    plus...
we need him to have a good Ast-TO ratio (which he doesnt have one)
we need him to shoot the 3ball well to space the floor for Yao (discussed)
we need him to defend well (which he cant)
we need him to stfu and stop whining to the media abt his play time
WE JUST NEED HIM TO OUT-PLAY RAFER! and thats not too much to ask for right?

The way he was utilized was completely off. Ok so his TO/Asst ratios were high. Should we dig out the D. Wade TO/Asst ratios? Nobody said he was a starter but a role player. It takes time to learn the NBA game. Vspan can defend the ball and haven't seen any evidence contrary. James/Francis and Head couldn't outplay Rafer and you're asking Vspan to?

Brooks, Novak, Landry, Scola would never have seen playing time in the old system.

Very Impressive streak by the Rockets. Being a fan of the Rockets, I can't get too excited about their playoff chances. I have ate crow for a couple of years with that team and refuse to eat any more.

Rockets fans should be humble until they prove they can get out of the first round.

Nice winning streak all the same!

Houston should be careful what they wish for. They do not want a #1-5 seed. Really...Utah, Dallas, Phoenix, and GSW will beat your asses in the playoffs.

So, they should hope to play the Spurs, Hornets, or Lakers in the first round?

Yeah You're right, Dumb , the Spurs and Lakers are going to be much easier for the Rockets to beat. they should sweep them but they should be afraid to play the Mavs,Jazz,Suns, and Warriors.

No one takes your team seriously, they could win 30 in a row and no one would care. I only mentioned the Mavs, Jazz, Suns, and Warriors because the Rockets seem to want a top 5 seed. If they get a top 5 seed, those are the teams they'll be looking it.
