I know you don't. But it's really amazing how many people still believe Kobe is a ballhog, it's like they haven't watched a single Laker game all season. The Lakers are completely decimated by injuries right now and they need production from someone on offense. Kobe is the best option they have, if he doesn't score 40 in the 1st half the Lakers lose this game by double digits.

I wouldn't hate Kobe so much if he hadn't been over-hyped and over-rated his entire career. I mean, fer chrissakes, how many times have you heard the ludicrous Jordan-Kobe comparison? Get the f-ck out of here! There is no comparison. Kobe has two NBA scoring les? Jordan had TEN! TEN! And as anyone who knows anything about b-ball knows, the rules have been drastically changed in the past 10 years to help boost scoring, and especially scoring by perimeter players like Kobe.

Works both ways. What if Kobe hadn't insisted on taking the lion's share of shots in the first half? Maybe his teammates could've gotten involved in the game and been in rhythm. When the Grizz tried to get the ball out of Kobe's hands in the second half, the Laker role players were cold and off their game, cuz they hadn't touched the ball much in the 1st half.

Exactly. Kobe's always been great at scoring. The knock against him has always been that unlike Jordan and Duncan, he doesn't make his team-mates better. Now, I will say that through most of this season, he has surprised a lot of people by being less selfish with the ball. But tonight, he reverted to past tendencies. And guess what happened?

im no Lakers fans, but everyone knows im a big Kobe fan. I dont see anyone else in the league with that much passion for the game. You can see it with his swagger. Some people hate it, i LOVE it.
