I've found half-way decent Mexican food restaurants in West Memphis, AR, and Bedford, VA. If you walk in and they have actual Mexicans working there, that's usually a good sign.

Unless they're just washing the dishes.

That......is a reasonable statement....and maybe it was just wishful thinking on my stomach's part.....but I know on streets no one likes to talk about about and places don't like to talk about....there are some fine little cocinitas that exist. My uncle used to own run called Mi Tierra in Hambler, Ohio of all places that served some fine home made Mexican dishes. Es verdad.

You were pretty fortunate w/ the weather too. Yesterday and today were perhaps the 2 nicest days we've had all year.

The weather today was absolutely gorgeous (we didn't get here until about 1130, took the 640am flight out of Houston. So fun.) - I can't help but feel, however, that I came at a weird time seasons-wise. The snow is gone, but the green plants haven't come back yet ... so everything is freaking brown. I can imagine that it's gorgeous when it's either green/autumny/snowy ... I somehow managed to miss all the seasons. Ah well. Tomorrow is the day that I do my campus tour, and it's supposed to rain most of the morning, but go figure
