Like the wolves, if they even make the playoffs this season.
spurs are 11-7 on the road. 5th best road record in the Leauge.
Like the wolves, if they even make the playoffs this season.
its january 15th, were 43 games away from the playoffs, were 30-9, and there overrated????
OK, I stand corrected. I forgot Utah was a road game. Still, we're not playing well on the road lately. And the Spurs should not be getting outrebounded, with 2 seven footers in there. It's infuriating.
Was Manu out with injury? Or just a lot of fouls?
On a completely unrelated to basketball note, this dumbass Grim1 has earned the first slot on my ban list.
Good riddance.
you still won't say who your team is. They must suck. who is is the bobcats?
Spurs are 2-4 in last six road games.
It's not just one game, goddammit. It's the 6th or 7th loss the Spurs have given away to inferior teams. It's 8th loss on the road for 9 total losses.
These Spurs are soft. They're getting beat to on the boards, and this isn't the first game. That's lacking hustle and desire. Spurs can't hold a big lead.
Spurs have 3 tough games next week.
rockets have 2 7'6 guys in there.
He got injured. Did not seem to be to serious.
4down is when they throw the ball to Tim and the other four Spurs stand around with their thumbs up their asses watching Tim do his Statue-of-Liberty imitation. Pop loves to play 4down to lock up losses.
But we dont need Malone.
I agree with most of what you said. The only thing I disagree with is that the spurs can't hold a big lead. The spurs still have the largest margin of victory in the league. they are holding most leads WHEN THEY HAVE THEM. the spurs problem all year has prodimantly been in close games that come down to the wire.
Actually that's just what dumb Spurs fans think the play is. 4Down is when Duncan gets the ball in the low block and the other Spurs players are supposed to do things like cut, move, and spot up.4down is when they throw the ball to Tim and the other four Spurs stand around with their thumbs up their asses watching Tim do his Statue-of-Liberty imitation.
The Spurs sucked tonight, but would have had a much better chance if Manu was on the floor in the 4th and not injured. When Duncan gets bogged down, Manu is the guy who still has the ability to get to the rim in 4th quarters. I hope his injury is not serious.
I hope that the rodeo is a momentum-building time like it usually is, when they can buckle down and start playing with some determination and guts on the road.
History says it will be. They need it.
Nah, it's just ONE MEANINGLESS game. You're still 30-9. Don't worry, that number in the loss column couldn't POSSIBLY increase any FURTHER than it already has. LMAO Spurs are on a DOWNWARD path on the LOSING spiral.
Spurs are regressing, it's clear that they have hit some kind of wall, but that's to be expected. The big three, phoenix, Spurs, and seattle are falling back into the pack.
Tim Duncan does not look like Tim Duncan, maybe the summer is catching up to him, he just doesn't look good. I was thinking it was some kind of injury, but on further thought he could just be sucking right now.
Us Spurs fans are so spoiled one loss and we all but disown the team. Spurs fans guess what, the Spurs will lose games this year, yes believe it or not, it's a very long season and happens.
The clear path call was highly questionable, and if i was a coach and this prick makes that call and follows it up with a technical, he's sittin on the table Van Excel style. I don't know how pop does it.
Duncan was waiting too long for the double to come, moving into the double when it did come, and the guys he actually did pass to couldn't hit .
That's what we call bad 4 down.
The only thing that worked was when Parker made good decisions off his penetrations -- but that only happened on half of those.
yes the rodeo has always been the key in the spurs success. If the rodeo road trip is a success the spurs often become very hard to beat.
Again, what was Manu's injury? When did he go out?
He has a thigh contusion. He went out in the 3rd qtr.
Isn't that the same ambiguous-sounding injury Nash is out with, too?
Thigh contusion=bruised thigh, yeah same as Nash
That is some wierd , first nash now manu, I think Ray needs to get the same thing for a trifecta....
