Suns 68 Grizz 72 8 min left in 4th, amare playing with 4 fouls
How about learning to not let them get that close, especially when it's a team you're more than capable of taking care of...but just choose not to.

wow, A great win by the Spurs, but they were lucky that Elton missed that shot.
Woooowww....get lost Grim...in the birght side you gave excitement in this thread...
Nice D TD...but Parker was the best player for this game....
Spurs must fix crunch time game...
Nevertheless...its a win.Thanks God!
Actually we do need some improvement. But not serious. We just need to learn how to show up EVERY night. Not just against the elite teams, but against poor and mediocure(sp?) teams.
Phew close one.........hope the suns lose to gizz as well....they are down 6 with 8 min left in forth.
blowouts are boring
to many for the spurs latley
After TP's clincher, can anyone tell me what happend when clippers had the ball, did they just miss or was it good D at the end, what happend? why didnt the clips foul SA for FT's?
Manu, 4/4 FTs in crunch time, then the RB off Elton's miss.
THAT is the serious improvement they need. If the Spurs don't learn some ing CONSISTENCY you can expect another playoff toss like last season.
Actually I enjoy Grim AT TIMES. I laugh at alot of his ridiculus(sp?) post. LOL its kinda funny.
Elton took the ball into the paint, and then a fadeaway from 10 ft, but he was kinda outa control, clanged it, Manu way up for the RB.
Ridiculous. Hey, if it helps. Especially when the Spurs are blowing games.
That happens alot!
Whew! That was very unusual call against Manu. Manu played great game against a physical, hustling Clipper squad. Manu and Tony really shined.
I guess the "kids" have gone to bed now.![]()
I knew I forgot an 'o'
Thanks bro.
Blowing games? 31-9! Yes we need to improve, every team needs to improve. But Ill take a 31-9 record.
Memphis up 6, 74-68 6:30 left
yeah theres a few holes, but thats what the regular seasons for. listen freind, if you think this was a lucky win, then obviously you don't watch alot of basketball. close wins happen all the time, to any team, its not luck. you do whatever it takes to get a W. 32-9 record is not luck.
TIM NEEDS TO SHOW UP.
Tony is averaging more points and he needs to have the team on his back because of this.
Centers and Forwards are the ones making critical shots in close games, Tony can't do about that, and Tim hasn't either.
Tim NEEDS TO STEP IT UP.
Yes, now if they can get the rest of the team on the same page EVERY game, THAT would be something, wouldn't it?
Actually I watch a lot of basketball. And you're right, close games like this do happen a lot. IN COLLEGE. Of course, I was under the impression the Spurs were SUPPOSED to be a little better than THAT.
Once Duncan "comes back" from wherever he is, we are gonna be hard to beat. I think we will win between 52-57 games this year.
Grim what do you think of Tim Duncan
Are we 32-9 or 31-9?
