I disagree, I actually just rewatched Prince of Theives and it hit me that Costner did not even try to give an accent, he was a blatantly american robin hood.

robin hood prince of theives is a good movie, it was overrated as when it came out (but mostly cuz of that abomination Bryan Adams' song) and now that we can look back its a solid movie...kevin really doesnt even try to make an accent so its funny

it would have been awesome if they had put a better emphasis on the stupidity and futility of the crusades, though they allude to this throughout the movie
