BTW_ throw me on whatever teams bandwagon you want casue I don't follow football. I only wath the super bowl.. and even then I mostly pay attention to just the last part of the 2nd qtr and the 4th qtr.

my point was : from people I've known they make it seem like a REQUIREMENT to be a Cowboys fan in texas....like you had no choice. I was just wondering if there WERE any fans of other teams around her e.. casue I've never met one.
I never said being a cowbaoys fan was dumb or stupid or whatever. It's just a stray thought casue truthfully I could give a rats ass what football team anyone roots for since I'm not into football and I only watch the superbowl.

actually in SA, while its safe to assume the majority of football fans are Cowboys fans, quite a few are Texans fans as well. Personally I like both teams as long as they are not playing each other...when they do, I defer to the Cowboys since they are the team I have rooted for them since birth. With all the military people we have here and people that retire here...there are a lot of fans of other teams. If you go to Fatso's Sports Garden on NFL sundays you will find that there are sections of fans representing all different teams. I don't go there personally because the food was substandard and the service was worse but if you are jonesing for a non-Cowboys or non-Texans game...that is a good place to go as is Hooters. They will usually accomodates requests for specific games.
It would be nice if San Antonio had a NFL team but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.
