Nope. The 2 republics will be Russian. Donbas and Luhansk. Thats already a done deal. They not going back just like Crimea.

Only Hater thinks Russia is winning, truth is he already lost. It is very very unlikely Putin obtain a demilitarization of Ukraine neither stop of weapons coming from the West and Putin won't obtain a pro-russian government. Ukraine is not stuck with Russia, Russia is.

This is why Russian plan was to invade fast, take major control points including Kiev.. this was key for Putin negotiating a peace in its favor... too late for that.

Exactly. So easy to call what comes next as well: Putler's calculation is that he's going to "call elections" and they'll vote to "join Russia", in effect pretending it's Russian territory and thus attacks on them are attacks on Russia.

Ukraine is simply going to call that bluff just like they've been calling their bluff so far. The only way they don't is if the West stops holding their hand.
