And with today we have hit our average for days of 100+ per year, taken over the last 30 years (the hottest 30 on record). In a year where we got hit by a tropical storm that cooled us for a couple of weeks and had a hurricane cool us down for nearly a month. And we'll probably still make it onto that leaderboard above given this heat dome will be burning us up at least another two weeks.
It's 97 at 1PM, might as well call it now.

Today was the fourth hottest day recorded in San Antonio
Do you ever watch WOAI 4 and Chris Suchan?
The dude actually tries to explain weather.
Very careful about ever saying global warming because of the ownership I guess, but I think he is pretty good based on limited viewing.
Sinclair is awful. Just unwatchable seeing a newscast always talking crisis at the border in election season while hyping the presidential candidate who hires illegals.

Muh urban heat island in Paraguay
anecdotally, a stiffly colder than usual winter in Argentina
seems like it wont be nearly as many days as 2023 or 2022
global cooling confirmed
We got hit by a tropical storm in June and a near miss with a hurricane in July that completely changed the weather pattern for 3 weeks and we still finished with significantly above the average of 100 degree days per year, with a real chance of sliding into the top 10. It was like a best case scenario and we still are going to end up with a pretty hot summer anyways.

Looks like we could hit 100 tomorrow but then lots of 90s in the 14-day forecast after. Then again the 14-day isn't all that accurate when we're not stuck under a heat dome, so still possible we make the top 10 for most days of 100+, especially if we hit 100 tomorrow.
Which is also a part of the whole problem.
The temp variation is ridiculous. The word is apparent unintelligible to the Orange right.
We have not caught up with this problem.
Well, at least we have a chance to see snow again in SA. Our dog loved it. He has fur.
