I'm pretty damn sure you've heard of it. As a matter of fact, we came out on ESPN one time as the school with the longest losing streak in Texas.

But, we got pretty good when Billy Garza played QB for us. He took Porter to State Semis. He's now the back up QB at Illinois.

I seperated my shoulder during a game and the trainer popped it back in. He asked the trainer if I was okay and then told me to go back into the game. I told him that I was hurting and he said, "You gonna quit on me? Only pussies quit, son." So, they wrapped up my shoulder and I went back into the game. I don't remembe the score, but I think we lost by 24 or something like that.

I had a dumbass soccer coach who wanted me to keep running through shin splints, even though every step I took felt like my legs were shattering. I refused and got almost no playing time after that. Bleh.

Yea, that coach was a dumbass. The previous season I broke my collar bone and he wanted me to keep playing. He said it was just a sprained shoulder, but even the trainer told him to back off. I also blew out my knee when I was chop blocked and all the coach did was ask how long it would take for me to get back on the field.

The tacos I used to eat back home, and in Matamoros, had meat, tons of white cheese, cilantro, onions, and avocado. They would give you a side of gilled onions with some frijoles charros. God damn, that was some good .

That's probably the only thing I miss.
