Cuban needs to bring in Alec Baldwin to do his Glengarry speech to the staff..
Lowe is citing that all things considered, ORL signed him for less than his max which in this environment with Turner getting 70M & other teams willing to pay, that is a win.
That is where value makes sense, although the context is hard. Fournier is a good player and young enough and you have to look at % of the cap for him and with that in mind, deal makes pretty good sense even though the raw dollar amount is high.

the Spurs' rivals in the 2000s have all become clown shows, tbh..Lakers can't even get a meeting with any decent FA, Mavs have went completely downhill since 2011 and the Suns are the worst franchise in the West..puts things in perspective..
Patty's market value right there.
+1 million
I think so, word is if they'll max him he'll stay. If Parsons is getting maxed surely Horford will...
Well, no doubt POR has more money to offer than SA. Will be interesting.
Didn't Gasol state that he would only sign with a Championship contender?
Portland determined to become a real 2nd round team, tbh..
Dude, they might have actually gotten worse. They could be a big time regression team. Pau would help some, but the guys they are losing (depth) to get Turner are better players with more upside.
I actually think they are worse.

The San Antonio Spurs have expressed interest in Willie Reed, according to sources.
Cleveland's scrub unit banking in right now![]()
Sure, but he's not a ring chaser type (or at least has not been). He won't play for a Lakers type for money, but he's taking the most money he can from a team that will be a playoff team usually.
The youth movement at last!
Oh, wait, I thought it said Willis Reed....
The Spurs are lifting up the barrel and scrapping down several inches into the ground with that one.
I was referring to how active they have reportedly been in FA, so far
They were barely a playoff team, last year, let alone a legit 2nd rounder..
Spurs being linked to a lot of bigmen.
Pau, Bourousis, Humphries, Mahinmi, Mozgov....
This, coupled with the fact that we've retained Bobo, extended a qualifying offer to Boban, and are forever stuck with Bonner...is making it seem increasingly more likely that Timmy is gonna hang 'em up.

I remember Reed had some nice games when Lopez sat out IIRC, but I don't know anything else about him..
I'm not even going to bother judging the money. In terms of fit, Turner gets them one step closer to poor man's Warriors . . .
- He can function as their Livingston, in that he can play point guard (offensively; he can't defend it), with Lillard/McCollum off ball. Given their gravity, they should be able to get good mileage out of myriad off ball actions.
- If they keep Leonard (provides enough stretch to keep the lane open), he can also function as their Green, in terms of being the screen setter in the pick and roll, when their guards are being trapped and picking teams apart 4 on 3.
