Ok, I just took two 'rapid release' tylenol, lets see if they work. I never take pills for headaches. I once had a bottle of aleve that was expired for a year before I opened it and the pills were all cracked and discolored.

But my headaches usually only happen at one of two levels -- mild enough that I can ignore them, or full on migraines that can only be cured by going to sleep.
