If Danny keeps working on his floater and layups, he will be a very, very valuable piece. He already is, but if he added that consistently..
Yep, and that ability to drive will open up his 3 ball even more. And his D is excellent. Leonard, Danny, and Splitter our team's defensive future is pretty strong.

pop is motivating kawhi, he was probably doing everything they talked about in the 1-on-1 meeting after game 2 and pop is pounding his chest saying it can be done, you just did it. i get a little pumped just seeing it. bet pop got in his face later on in the locker room and yelled "THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT MOTHER ER, GIVE ME THAT HEART AND PHYSICALITY EVERY GAME!"

almost as cool as when parker hits a huge shot and gets in his teammates faces yelling at them all pumped up.

    Why game 3 matters:

It's a totally different year but the Spurs are one of those six teams, fwiw. But it's not the 2-3-2 series anymore either, I'd throw those stats out the window personally.

    no altercation.

It was Pop POUNDING THE ROCK of his new star, congratulating him for being, encouraging him to be the star Pop knows he is.
Exactly, it was Popp congratulating Kiwi on playing to his potential.

game 3 would be the first on the road, 2-3-2 or 2-2-1-1-1.

one of the 6 was the Pistons 2005, they won game 4, both blowouts, too, then then then ...... Game 5

The Pistons were not one of the 6. This is when teams are tied 1-1. Spurs went into Detroit 2-0.

Awesome game by the Spurs! Kahwi Leonard really stepped up. Not to mention Danny Green! He had 5 steals i think and those drives to basket got me cringing every time but they all pretty much went in, also that driving lay-up and-1 on Lebron James.

It definitely is their solid defense and ball movement that got them the big lead. However, there are moments when Parker came in, ball movement stopped!! I think Spurs were up 25 and when Parker came in, lead got cut to 15! Ball stucked too long on Parker's hand and the offense got stagnant. Parker did hit some key shots in the game. It's kind of weird feeling now, usually you want the best players on the floor but whenever I see Mills coming in I'm more comfortable and confident knowing he'll move the ball, hustle and hit those pull up shots.

Let's go Spurs and win the crucial Game 4!! I'd like to see how the Heat recover from a 3-1 deficit.

It didn't matter last year but it pretty much took a total collapse in game 6 to prevent the odds from working in our favor. I think the Spurs are fine as long as they don't collapse again. They're holding the Heat to low 90's scoring meanwhile they can easily score 100+. They have to maintain the defensive intensity and they should be fine.
I just don't see the odds going against us 2 years in a row after 2 big game 3 wins. The basketball god's can't have that much left to drop on us.

Basketball Gods find it tough to overcome 75% shooting.

Saying that the 2-3-2 vs the 2-2-1-1-1 makes a big difference in the original chart, not that the difference in which game was where...after all game three was in San Antonio last year.

At worst the Spurs should be able to swap wins with Miami. I'd be surprised to see them lose two in a row. We'll see.

Swap wins = Spurs in 7. Fine with me.
