24/7 saying Texas is beginning to re-gain momentum with 2016 WR Reggie Hemphill and they've had a big impact on his recruitment in recent weeks. He's currently debating on attending the "Under the Lights" camp in Austin or going to a Baylor camp that same day.

Apparently the two of them wants to play together, and Demarco Boyd has Texas and Florida State as his leaders. Boyd might earn an offer at the July 18th camp.

Hamm, of course, went out and denied it. He said that the words used by Boyd was that Texas and Florida State "held an edge". 247 dropped an article shortly after, and it has those words in it. No doubt that Hamm contributed even though it has Horns247 Staff as the writer.

Nonetheless, this one could be a lot more interesting than many believed.

Welcome aboard! QB recruiting for 2016 looks awesome. I have 16 QB's on my own personal Texas recruiting spreadsheet, that either has been on campus or said that they will visit. Name-wise, it's a pretty incredible list.

RB Kyle Porter of Katy has received an offer from Texas and speaks with coach Koenning a couple of times a week. Porter ran for 1877 yards and 23 touchdowns on 255 carries last season.

I'm ok with the offer even though I like Speights more. Katy players scare me the same way Lake Travis and Southlake Carroll kids do.

Their respective systems are so good for high school that it's difficult to project how they'll do on the next level.
