I'm hoping to make it to that game. If I do go I'm chanting, "Uncle Dennis" for sure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kawhi sits the game and doesn’t even make the trip.

I remember DA and some other talking heads saying Brooklyn could be a destination for Leonard and others to team up.

where was tony in that series? he was up against a 1leg fkn cp3 and he fkn choked or laying on the floor getting beat every possession, dont forget the over dribbling stalling the teams offense then passing it out for some bailout miracle shot...

kawhi up against the cuck barnes who trains with him every summer probably knows his skillset too well, yet there should be no excuse to be shutdown, but then again we should look at how many fga did he had compared to the other players on the team, was he first option? or down the pecking order behind other players on t he team who have the green light to chuck...

that year was bull , seems like the spurs didnt wanna defend their le, just happy they won the previous year and took the year off, t hen all of a sudden they started to be serious again the following 2 seasons, what for?
Tony Parker was hit in the leg by Chris Pauls knee at the beginning of the series and was hurt the rest of the way, just to educate you. Typical Chris Paul stuff that he used to get away with all the time. Paul is and always has been a cheap shot artist. Thankfully, Paul's demise is on the fast track now.

A lot of bad breaks in that series. Spurs the 6th seed even though they should've been the 5th seed cause the Blazers had a worse record but were division champs. Splitter injured. Tony injured, didn't have enough lift on his jump shot and couldn't hit anything. Pop still overplaying him when Mills looked better. Kawhi getting locked down by Matt Barnes. Pop not being able to stop the high double screen pick & roll by the Clippers. Spurs not able to get stops in 2 home close-out games. Chris Paul making that luckyass game winner. Clippers shot clock guy letting the Clippers see the last play by the Spurs in advance. Just too much to overcome. Series was decided by 2 points.

Well...All NBA already knew this...He had good games early in the season vs scrubs but when the schedule gets tougher he shrinks under pressure.

Raptors are second round fodder AGAIN. Everyone was saying how they are a championship level team and I warned that Lowry can't be trusted in the playoffs or big games. Leonard fans keep blaming his teammates when they lose (they know who they are) and I'm sure they will have a myriad of excuses for his failure to win this year. However there is no team out there where he can join and they will win. He is done winning championships. He will go to the Clippers and years later when his career is over, he will think back on the Spurs and how he won with us and think: I wonder if I could've won one more with them had I played. Bc he ain't winning with the ing clippers or Raptors

    ...

I also remember when @midnight said Kawhi's handles were mediocre

    Clutch:
Leonard nearly won the game on his own. After being double-teamed the entire night, the Bucks switched to single coverage in the fourth and he burned them. Leonard drilled a corner three, nailed two pick-and-pop jumpers, forced Giannis Antetokounmpo into an air ball, and forced a turnover off Khris Middleton.
    Foreshadowing:
However, the Bucks stopped Leonard in his tracks by reverting back to their double teams in the final two minutes. Leonard saw three bodies in the paint every time he drove, and the Raptors failed to convert that added defensive scrutiny into open shots.
Who knows but they had many wide open shots in those minutes...Just missed them.

East is trash ball and Kawhi isn't even the big dog over there. He's not in Greek Freak's area code.

Not really..I would say Kawhi>Giannis but I know you will try to find a way to bash him so...who cares.

Giannis has a much higher PER and box plus-minus, along with a higher TS% and far better traditional counting stats. This even before Kawhi has his eventual imaginary cervix pain and quits on the Raptors.

All I know is Kawhi played 38 minutes and his team caught a load at home from a team that just got degraded by an off-night, unhealthy Warriors team at home.

Kawhi is back to MVP level from the 16/17 season. Nobody can deny that, look at his stats. Kyle Lowry will be his downfall though. This guy plays like he wants to get traded

What is wrong with PER, anyway? The best player in the NBA almost always leads or is at least in the top 3 in it. MJ won it 7 years in a row at his peak, LBJ similar, Kareem won a bunch in a row. The MVP has been the PER leader for several years in a row now.
