Why Indy? They are gonna be trash with Dipo out for the rest of the season.
At least he won't be in SA watching DD and LMA take fadeaway 2s.

The league should look well into the buyout market...It is totally unfair the original salary don't count against the cap. This year there will be so many high profile players one can make a playoffs team out of them, and they'll all will sign for an icecream and a lollipop.

Warriors could sign: Lopez, Matthews, Ellington, Gortat, and Teodosic for fun to throw 80-foot lob passes to KD.

How often do bought-out players actually make an impact on their new teams, though? Most of the time, they're getting bought out for a reason, not just out of the goodness of their old teams' hearts.

None of that will make a San Antonio team led by DD, LMA, and Pop - who will retire soon - a compelling attraction for FAs.

What a week. I can't remember so many blockbuster trades in the same season.
And still the Warriors will win again, while sipping female longdrinks with umbrellas and shooting selfies....

    Will be a Warrior.....
Good for him. I hope he rings. I wanted him instead of LMA when they left Portland. RoLo would have been an excellent complement to Tim.

You just named the reason the Spurs dont have to do anything. R. Lopez and W. Ellington wouldn't hurt of course just for making games more compe ive but they will probably go to the fcking Warriors for a free ring.

I agree. Much more movement - significant movement - than I expected. The Warriors and LeBron are both on about the same downward curve now. The league will be much better in a couple of seasons. The Lakers will be totally fascinating to follow for the remainder of the season since LeGM didn't get his way on AD. Watching him play on that scrubby team that is now totally alienated may be the best soap opera the NBA has ever had.

I agree that he has regressed but have you seen Pau Gasol play?

This team is semi- tanking and not expecting to make the playoffs or barely making it as an eight seed which would be disastrous. They are not going to do anything to impact their draft or financial stability outside of LA and DeRozan.

The reason is their teams are tanking and they are too good to let rot on the bench

he might decide to stay injured till summer, or on the flip side play like a beast then sit the Warriors series out of spite

Remember all the hype about teams adding guys like Danny Granger, Deron Williams and Joe Johnson from the buyout market in recent years? Then the playoffs would roll around and they'd look old, washed, and remind everyone why they got bought out. The buyout market is overrated.

True tbh though Illysova and Ferrari sure made a difference for Philadelphia last season tbh.

Now that the trade deadline has passed, #Spurs roaming the buyout market, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA ... still searching to add a wing player if the price is right.

There's a large contingent of anti white racists on this forum tbh.
