What's Bosh saying to TD?
Duncan Block Party
Mason is a stud. More shots and an expanded role for him will only mean good things for the Spurs.
And what's with Hill tonite?
My team sucks. I wanna return to Texas.
That is the reason why the raps are not a .500 team even with two great post up players.
wtf bosh trying to shoot the 3?
Tp J!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to close it out. Still though, this team is not looking all that good at the moment.
Embarrassment avoided.
this is a well needed win. i don't like the 35 attempts at three though. can't always shoot 45% from the 3 every night.
tollivers still not shooting good but at least he had a couple of hustle plays. pretty glad to see balanced scoring
It's the interior D, ain't it? Duncan looks like he's 40 years old down there. Attack the paint and the Spurs can be beat.
very good collective effort from the team tonight! I think its safe to say that Tolliver's not going to be Spur.
The Spurs cannot score 48 from three every game.
Youre missing the point.
That was the gameplan against Toronto.
Be happy we won.![]()
i liked Tollivers effort... Manu's 4 TO are scary though
But it's easy to explain the game
We aren't playing well this week.We aren't a top team right now but the Raps are one of the worst and they have one of the worst bench of the league.
We didn't play great but we take a great lead when Parker played against Solomon. He was great.
And we can't shoot 35 3's per game.We can't win a lot of games with that kind of play.We made 16 tonight but it's easy we can't hit the same most days
Id rather them shoot 3's and jumpers than wear out TD and risk injuring TP and Manu driving to the basket at this point of the season.
The Spurs gameplan: See Chandler, Howard, Bosh in the paint? Stay Out.
They have been doing this since the start of the week. Nonetheless, a win is a win.
It's not only TD's fault.I would say it's not TD's fault. It's not easy when you play which Bonner,Tolliver,Oberto or Thomas.Only TD above 6-10 and only TD is able to block.
That's the problem we have
Final: Spurs 107, Raptors 97

FOURTH QUARTER
Duncan has the Spurs' last two baskets. They lead 103-95 with 2:12 left.
The Spurs are still holding a solid lead but haven't quite put the Raptors away. Mason scored seven points in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. The Spurs lead 96-87 with 5:25 left.
Mason hit a jumper and a 3-pointer and Manu Ginobili added a driving basket to give the Spurs a 91-75 lead with nine minutes left in the game.
THIRD QUARTER
Parker has 22 points, the Spurs have made 13 3-pointers and they take an 84-73 lead into the fourth quarter.
Michael Finley hit his fourth 3-pointer. He has 14 points and the Spurs lead 73-63.
The Raptors' big men are keeping their close. Chris Bosh and O'Neal have 29 combined points - nearly half their team's scoring. The Spurs lead 68-60.
The Spurs started the second half strong. Finley hit a 3-pointer and is up to 11 points. Parker had two more baskets and the Spurs lead 65-52.
SECOND QUARTER
Parker has 14 points and the Spurs were 7 of 11 from 3-point range in the second quarter as they took a 56-48 halftime lead.
The Spurs went through a three-minute stretch when it looked like they couldn't miss and the Raptors went cold. Parker scored the last six points of a 17-2 run and the Spurs grabbed a 47-33 lead.
The Spurs nailed five 3-pointers in the first seven minutes of the second quarter - two by Matt Bonner and two more by Mason. They are on a 15-4 run and lead 41-33.
The Spurs got a spark to start the second quarter with Bonner and Manu Ginobili hit a 3-pointer each. The Spurs' bench has 10 points so far. The Raptors lead 29-28.
FIRST QUARTER
Duncan and Parker scored six points each but the Spurs had a cold shooting first quarter and the Raptors finished the period with a 25-20 lead.
It looks like the Spurs bench will get a lot of playing time tonight. We'll see how much they contribute. With 2:13 left in the first quarter, all the Spurs starters were out and George Hill, Ginobili, Ime Udoka, Anthony Tolliver and Kurt Thomas were on the court.
The Spurs are on a 7-2 run started by a 3-pointer by Bruce Bowen.
Tolliver, who was just recalled from the Austin Toros, entered the game with 6:10 left in the first quarter. The Spurs are playing their third game in three cities in four days and can use his energy and young legs.
The Raptors are drilling their shots early and have a 15-11 lead. Bowen hit the floor less than five minutes into the game after the Raptors made five of their first eight shots.
O'Neal missed the second half of the Raptors' game on Friday night due to a sore shoulder. He looks like he feels better - he has their first two baskets tonight.
