    Got withing 4 pts, but couldn't get over the hump. We just can't score. 3rd qtr belonged to Gino.

    Nugs have 5 players in double figure, the Spurs just 2. Spurs shooting 32%!!! ing amazing.

    Spurs sre playing better, but aren't a good enough team to overcome a bad/lazy first quarter and a half and 19 point deficit on the road.

    Beno needs to sit tonight. He's not doing much on offense, and Boykins is KILLING him. At least Wilks can stay in front of him, and keep him off the break.

    Boykins and Miller combo killed Spurs after the Spurs got within 4. That foul on Manu killed the run.

    TP, Manu, Barry, Horry, Mass start 4th.

    TP tripped, loses ball. Boykins in left corner, for 3 over Manu swish.

    Manu fouled shooting. 2 FTs good 64-76.

    Manu off screen by Mass, FT line jumper short. Najera back the other way tries reverse but fouled by Horry. Najera misses 1st FT, makes 2nd. Spurs trail 64-77.

    Time to yank Manu and run up the white hanky. Spurs have a game in less than 24 hours, and a lot better chance to win than this one. They're just ing around and not cutting into the lead. Got to cut your losses. I'd hate to see him burnt out and flat against the Lakers.

    8:47 left in game 68-80. Najera going to line for his "and 1" FT.

    Rasho in now for Horry. Najera misses FT. Manu goes inside and lane has 5 guys in it. OUt to TP for the 20 footer, swish.

    Rasho gets piece of ball but Najera efforts it in again undeneath garbage man.

    TP misses floater. Fastbreak Person 7 foot swish in lane.
