Question: in the last several games, Pop has "tissue paper" Barry in late on defensive play where we need a stop. Why? Dude needed to rotate down when Horry came over to make the block. He just stood there in the lane. I'm surprised the refs didn't call a defensive 3 seconds and give them a FT on top of the basket.

Pop, Barry sucks as on defense. You need to use your player's strengths, not highlight their weaknesses.

Hater, you do realize that Barry was the only guy on that play that didn't blow his assignment don't you(along with Horry)?

The rotation was supposed to come from the weakside...not the strongside...on top of that Barry was the only guy on his side of the court. If he rotates, his man is standing wide the open with nearest defender 15 feet away.

BTW, exactly how many guys do you want to send to stop Gordan Giricek anyway...3?

You might want to consider that the 2 culprits on that play have played about 9000 minutes in the past 5 days.

In fact Barry was about the only guard who didn't suck in the final seconds of that game...a pity we had him inbounding the ball with 2 seconds on the clock...probably just as well...he probably would have made one of those gutless heartless pussy passes to an open man or something...
