Hey guys what's up?
Any spurs fan that dislike Kobe more than Shaq. Don't respect David Robinson in my opinion!
Hey guys what's up?
ya know...OKC's bandwagon is starting to fill up fast...
I don't remember David Robinson very clearly because he was not one of my favorite players growing up. I was more a fan of the Knicks and Larry Johnson in Mr. Robinson's day.
On the general topic, the San Antonio Spurs have carried themselves with class and respect. Their fans haven't started brawls or burned police cars when they have a rivalry or win a Championship.
Tim Duncan is perhaps the most likeable superstar of this generation. Kobe Bryant is abrasive, arrogant, and he cheated on his wife in Denver with the other woman claiming rape before charges were dropped. He feuded with another All-Time great and pouted until he could win on his terms (his team). That's not a likeable guy.
Shaquille O'Neal has acted like the annointed Hall-of-Famer since his first day in the league. He talked about how he belongs there, he was marketed to be the next Kareem or Wilt, and he has made arrogant statements like "I think I want 5 or 6 les. That's a good number" as if he had complete control over the league.
Lebron James doesn't need to be covered. Carmelo Anthony (partying on-tape around pot and alcohol), Allen Iverson (various on-court and off-court problems), Kevin Garnett (his on-court persona), Tracy McGrady (a prima donna that can't win), Dirk Nowitzki (regarded as soft), Vince Carter (quit on his team), Baron Davis (demanded trades, quit on team), Chris Webber (took money in college and committed perjury, smoked pot and caught for it). Rasheed Wallace (technicals), Ron Artest (Palace Brawl), and Gilbert Arenas (gun incident) all have made headlines for the wrong reason.
How can you not like Tim Duncan? When you see all of this around the league, what is wrong with taking pride in the fact you are above the influence?
