Tim is the guy imo who is hurting the Spurs right now. His lack of offense and energy has put the Spurs in a tough spot. They can't score inside with Blair and with Tim playing so poorly, it is up to the perimeter guys to create and Spurs are getting bad looks.
I didn't mind Blair's D, West just owns the Spurs..his offense was horrible though..he needs to be moved out of the starting lineup..
I agree with DPG about Duncan..he's missed some easy shots, and he's settling too much(although that's probably part of the plan for the 1st half of the season, unfortunately)..
Also, Ginobili is taking too many stupid shots..

sons David West is looking good scoring, but that 6'9 bas hasn't even attempted to get a rebound yet and it shows ... he doesn't have a single ing rebound yet.
Spurs are "ahead" at the half.
Spurs shooting 35%, Hornets shooting 45%, and yet Spurs only down 1.
Duncan is 1-5 - that's not going to last.

Blair by far has been the weakest link. His D has been porous and he has no idea on what to do on offense. He still needs to learn to take the game more seriously. That big smile of his after he screws up just looks like a guy who does not care enough. He should be mad as at himself and his inferior play.

I hope to see more McDyess on West in the 2nd half. Blair doesn't have a prayer against him right now.
If the Spurs can continue going to the line they should be OK. Just hope Paul doesn't continue to heat up.
Spurs have to rebound. They should be crushing these guys on the glass. They have to force the ball to Tim inside. He has to get going or else everything will be too hard on offense. Even if he is not scoring, he has to facilitate.
sons I have had my beef with David West, but whenever his shot is "on" he is so fun to watch.

son in 2008 EXPERIENCE was the key factor and the reason the Spurs won that series. talent wise THAT YEAR we should have won that series, but the Spurs had the experience and took us out in game 7.

Spurs' spacing is terrible with Duncan and Blair under the basket..no room for the guards to make any passes..
