Much better, defense needs some work though.
and that's usually the spurs calling card...
after the poor start, +5. I'll take it
Much better, defense needs some work though.
Only a 5 point lead, hopefully the Spurs pull away in the 3rd, don't want a close game near the end
where is this great swarming defense which the Spurs used to turn games against the Hornets or OKC? I mean they can do it, but the energy is just missing ...
They've got to go to Duncan almost every time down. They've got no answer for him.
They also need to get Jefferson involved. 1 field goal and 0 free throws is pathetic. It's not like it's a one off, to where you could overlook it. It's a recurring theme and it continues to happen, despite the fact that Parker is injured. You'd think he'd be more involved.
Other than that, if they could take care of the ball and keep them off the line, this will quickly turn into a double digit lead and potentially a blowout. The Cavs only have three legit NBA players in this game and not one is even a surefire starter. No excuse to be playing a game with them, especially after the debacle that was last night and with two contenders looming.
Bonner and RJ will get worse as the playoffs get near.
I've very disappointed that the Spurs didn't look at getting a decent back up big man and a back up small forward.
They should know by now that Bonner disappears when it gets close to playoff time.
RJ I thought would be better and stay strong, but it looks like he's going wayward too.
All things considered, we'd have been up double digits if not for that 5-minute spell when Chris Quinn was on the floor
Its games like this where RJ should be going hard to the basket to get some confidence, but it seems like when he gets the ball it automatically goes down to Duncan.
I really don't see why Splitter isn't getting any time on the court. I would throw him in there and see if he can defend a little, grab a few boards. Bonner isn't hitting his shots, throw Novak in there.
Hhiiiiiillllllllll 3333333333333333333
can i have a link as well? thanks
First good defensive rotation all game long
There's the aggressive RJ
Cavs have goaltending issues
We have a very decent back up big man in Splitter.
Overall he was as dominant as Scola or Marc Gasol in Spain. But he is playing 10 minutes per week.I'm pretty sure he's the best big man of the roster outside Duncan
And I have to read how some gurus here say he's garbage or he's worse than Bonner.Of course they have to be kids that never him playing more than those 10 minutes.
would be nice if RJ can put up atleast half of his career average which is 16ppg
Spurs didn't end the 1st half very well - but I like how they've started the 2nd half so far!
no problem RJ...keep driving to the hole
Charge, but at least RJ is being aggressive.
