Galaxy Champs!
Good ending for Becks if he leaves.
What guts the Galaxy showed out there. It takes a lot to overcome having Adam Christman starting on your team.
Great season. I hope Becks stays.
Beautiful goal with Becks, Keane and Donovan all playing a part in it
@beermonkey
@msalgado trying to think of the Galaxy equivalent of today's lolskins loss. Donovan missing a shootout PK again?
msalgado
@beermonkey No because Gano is not the level of Donovan. Pretty much would be Cristman sending a sitter over the bar #wondostyle
30 minutes before game time.![]()
Congrats to LA.
Wished it was the Sounders, but the Galaxy definitely deserve it!![]()
Adu, Convey, Ching left unprotected in MLS expansion draft, available for Impact
By Associated Press, Published: November 21
NEW YORK — Philadelphia forward Freddy Adu, San Jose All-Star defender Bobby Convey and Houston forward Brian Ching are among the players left unprotected in Major League Soccer’s expansion draft for the Montreal Impact on Wednesday.
Toronto midfielder Julian de Guzman, Houston forward Carlo Costly and New York midfielder John Rooney — the brother of Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney — also were unprotected Monday, as were Washington midfielder Branko Boskovic and Vancouver forward Mustapha Jarju.
Also available are Philadelphia winger Justin Mapp, Salt Lake midfielder Andy Williams, Houston forward Carlo Costly and Chivas USA goalkeeper Zach Thornton.
Each of the 18 existing teams may protect 11 players. Homegrown young players don’t count against the limit, and high-priced designated players must be protected if they have no-trade provisions. Montreal will select 10.

Will be interesting to see who will be taken. Galaxy have a few players unprotected that I think the Impact should take. (Cardozo, Stephens, Birchall). None are amazing, but Stephens is a young player, Birchall is decent, and Cardozo shows flashes of being VERY good. Depends on what they want out of the draft, one of those should get taken.
Well, they can't be worse than the players we have right now![]()
Yeah. You can only take one player from each team so the Galaxy will only lose one of those. If I had my way it would be Stephens that will get selected.
THANK GOD, John Harkes has been replaced in the booth. Taylor Twellman will take his place.

Even though Brian Ching vowed to retire if they selected him, the Montreal Impact chose the Dynamo's all-time leading scorer with the first pick in the 2011 expansion draft Wednesday.
"I have no comment on this at this time," Ching said.
A day before the draft, Ching promised to retire and work in the Dynamo's front office if the Impact chose him.
The Impact is coached by Jesse Marsch, one of the U.S. national team assistant coaches on Bob Bradley's staff when they decided to make Ching one of the last cuts from the team before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
To this day, Ching has said he'll never get over that snub, and now Marsch appears to have made the call that could send the Dynamo icon into retirement at least a year before the Hawaiian forward hoped.
On Tuesday, Ching made clear he didn't want to play for anyone other than Dominic Kinnear. Moreover, Ching had his agent tell the Impact he wouldn't play for them or Marsch.
"I've pretty much played with Dom pretty much my entire professional career," Ching said Tuesday. "He's one of the big reasons why I've been successful. We have a great friendship. It goes beyond the field. I don't see myself playing for any other coach at this point in my career.
"I just know (Marsch) as a compe or on the field. He's a compe ive guy. He's a guy that's been successful in the league. I have nothing against him, but I wouldn't play for him."
Yeah he is a got
He can sick a duck
Jesus, Bob Bradley is still finding ways to over Ching
Impact trade for ricketts. They may put out a good team in year one.
