we have bynum so it shouldn't be too bad, as long as kobe doesn't turn it over too much we should win it

Lakers look a lot better than I thought they would to start this year. I really thought they wouldn't do well, but they're 2-2 and one of those losses was just a late collapse against a very good Bulls team.

Once they get Bynum back and if they keep working on the Mike Brown defensive system they can be a major threat again.

I think they need one more playmaker though...they just seem to be missing that one guy.

I don't think Mike Brown gets enough credit as a coach though. He's a very good defensive coach. I've never seen the Lakers keep teams to the points they have in this early season.

We'll see how much he has improved offensively as a coach though. That'll be key. I think he has a lot more to work with than he had in Cleveland though.

Lakers looked like dog . The Knicks looked worse. The unmolested version of the Lakers with Odom and Shannon Brown would have beaten that sorry ass Suns wannabe squad by 40.

Ill be the first to say this team wont win a le, but the truth is we dont miss Odom or Brown. We still need a slashing PG in the worst way, which got me to thinking. Why is there a D-league? If there is not at least one PG in that league thats better than Fisher and Blake, then it should cease to exsist. Blake is playing much better this season, though. Mcroberts is a bit of a surprise.

Yall miss Phil. of a coach you guys have now, I mean Gawwttdamn, straight up coaching from the huddle.

Im not a Brown fan, and never will be.

I have to admit, I am warming to the guy. I HATED that youtube clip of him shucking and jiving after Mo williams dunk. And watching yell to a player to say "hey good job" reminds me of coachingmy son's team at the local rec center ..but I can see why he impressed the Buss clan.

His handling of Artest alone so far has been a blessing to this team. A weaker coach would of folded after the Stern/Paul fiasco ...

Not sold 100% but willing to give him the benefit of the doubt ...

brown doesn't show incompetence tbh, no coach could make this team a good defensive team
