Leonard misses a 3 and then 18 seconds later steps up and makes one. Good show of confidence by him and by his teammates setting him up.
Manu/RJ/TJ should all hang out

RJ is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RJ is really playing some decent D tbh.
Pop, take Parker out. We won. Don't risk an stupid injury
Crazy TP didn't have a 2nd half assist
I know tough nite for you
ducks is already clicking on the create thread button
too busy to all over the wall
97 points for the Wizards. Sad.
We got lucky Manu played 3 quarters, or we don't win this, tbh
Splitter really had a nice stat line tonight. He deserves more time on court.
TP another great game
Defense sucks
One player got injured
It looks the same every game
Parker is ing UP ABOVE IT

He was passing to Blair, Green and RJ... the usual suspects.
crappy win > great loss.
Goodnight and God bless.
Exactly. If you're competing for a championship you're not grading yourself on whether you win the game but how you win the game. To bad we won't be facing any of these Leastern Conference teams in the playoffs.
My thoughts from the game after seeing this team live for the first time this season:
-Post D is not all that bad (might even be good against teams not named the Lakers or Memphis in the West).
-Tim Duncan is still a top 5 bigman in the league today, and it really can't be disputed
-Parker should really be considered for MVP. I know he won't win it, but not being considered a top 5 candidate is ludicrous.
-There are so many long jumpshots either hardly being defended or going uncontested altogether.
-When Parker is not playing, the ball-handling and offense in general is bad.
-Blair can defend, as can RJ when not being lazy. Both just make dumb decisions.
-Splitter is the real deal when he gets going.
-Bonner really can be useless when his shot isn't falling, but he hustled and played some good D for small stretches. In general he wasn't that much of a liability. Blair should've gotten time next to Splitter or Leonard should've played the 4 the rest of the time.
There's more but that's the most obvious I could point out. If the Spurs can get Diaw, then they should focus on getting an outside defender before a PG or, preferably, a backup PG that can defend the perimeter well. The Blair hate is over the top, but he has some mental flaws that have been getting worse since his rookie year. Hope this game is a sign of things to come from Splitter, he played great on both ends. It'll be a sad day in Spursland when Duncan leaves, but if Parker can lead the offense this well in 4-5 years after his athleticism starts to fail the team will live on.
