According to @numberFire, Spurs had 1-in-200 chance (0.5 %) to come back and beat Warriors when Spurs were down 16 points with 4:00 to play

392-0. The record, before last night, of #NBA playoff teams with a 16+ point lead at the 4 minute mark [via @EliasSports]

Puts into perspective how unbelievable last night was.

The Spurs can look at film and list off 20 things they can do better.

The Warriors can look at film and wonder how the they lost.
    Agreed.

The shot by DG to tie it I think will be huge for his confidence. Hopefully it carries over. Spurs need their "others" to step up big time. DG has been a question mark in terms of how much we can rely on him in the playoffs in crunch time. Maybe this shot helps him turn the corner. I have a feeling he goes off from 3 next game.

Looking forward to seeing Kawhi guard Curry also. His length bothered him I think. But it takes a team to contain Curry and we got to find a way to not get ass raped by him on pick n rolls. Splitter's foot speed would help.

I give props to CJ. Guy was left on an island trying to guard Curry in the 3rd and was getting torched, but he fought hard.

It will be interesting to see how well GS plays in a tighter game. They were up by quite a bit most of the game and IMO quite a few of their shots were falling because they were playing with a nice cushion the whole game. They were way to comfortable, and everyone for them especially Curry was a beneficiary of that offensively. Spurs need to come out the gate playing great and immediately put pressure on them and not let them play like they're in a park.

This morning, breakfast, dialogue, Father and Son.

    Son: Absurd.
    Father: What?
Son: I tell you, totally absurd.
    Father: What is absurd?
Son: The Spurs. They are absurd.
    Father: Did they lose?
    Son: They won.
Father: So what's absurd in the better team winning?
Son: They couldn't hit anything, for the whole game. Curry was hitting incredible shots. That guy is amazing.
    Father: And?
Son: and they were down like 14 points with like 4 or 5 minutes and I WENT TO BED. What the , they lose and I have to wake in 2 hours. Absurd.
    Father: laughing.....
Son I have no idea how they did it.
    Father: more laughing.
Son: Bas s, I stay up untill 5 AM, watched all the misses and I miss the come back and the double overtime.
    Father: Well... Manu?
Son: Hit the final shot to win the game, apparently.
    Father: Classic.
Imagining this with an Italian accent makes it 10 times funnier.

After the MDM, conventional wisdom was that, yeah, Portland blew the big lead, but the Spurs lucked out and were in trouble.

Moral victories don't mean jack. The Warriors can't close, even with a 16 point lead and 4 minutes left.

What was even funnier, was DA was so expecting "mean" Pop. He wanted to get out of there quick so he asked him only 1 question instead of the obligatory 2. Pop's like, "what, no second question?!"
No one has asked him a second question since Barkley tried.

This may be the first time that the average fan got to see "fun Pop".

Actually, you're allowed 2. Barkley unsuccessfully went for the trifecta. Funny stuff.
