Jeff Mc Donald said its purely precautionary and that he will be shocked if Parker misses game 4

He's going to play tbh. There's no way he doesn't unless its a completely torn hamstring.

Issue will be just how limited he will be. If he's healthy enough to at least be a viable decoy then the Spurs have a shot of closing this thing out. But anything less than they're done.

Would really really help if Manu decided to be more aggressive scoring-wise for longer than the first 2-3 minutes tbh.

No Parker and the Heat win three straight, Spurs are getting open threes because Heat are trapping and doubling Tony on every play and don't rely on Green and Neal going Curry every game

Pop is playing mind games imo, parkers fine, he just wants to distract the Heat.

I bet Parker is questionable right up to the game.

This just in: Tony Parker will miss game 4 due to HIV. Apparently, he got it from Magic during their bubbly interview during the Western Conference Finals, tbh.

TBH, we aren't going to hear jack about the results of the MRI because it's to Pop and the Spurs advantage to keep this info away from Miami - good or bad.

If it's Grade 1, he can play. From a training standpoint, the MRI would determine which fibers, IF ANY, have been affected. They will treat like crazy, they will warm him up, he might have a wrap on his hamstring or go the compression wrap pants look, but with Pop, TP would be monitored like a pitcher with a pitch count.

I will say that, if you are an athlete, and you do have cramping issue, one of the newest ways to stop that from happening is to drink...Pickle Juice. Believe it or not, the brine in Pickle Juice gives the body what it craves to help combat cramping.

If LeBron can't go, The Heat are finished. Period. However LeBron goes, so goes The Heat. If Mr. Parker can't go, we will be challenged harder, but we have the talent, collectively, to step up and still take this thing, in my humble opinion. The media needs drama-grabbing headlines. We just need that trophy. Spurs #5 in 5.

You would think that the Pickle Juice would have caught on since the Pickle Juice game in 2000 but strangely enough, it wasn't talked about all that much until BYU did an actual study on the effects of Pickle Juice and cramps. Like it needed some sort of scientific evaluation.

It's all good, you're right and so am I

    Now...any new on Parker.

I am trying to get an inner circle update but you may be right. I am just hoping for a thumbs up or down that he plays, but even that may be too much to leak out to the enemy camp. Even my inside info may be bogus LOL

cramping is usually due to an overload of lactic acid produced by muscle fibers. pickle juice is nothing but mostly vinegar, aka acetic acid.

    related: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactic_acid

Both acetic and citric ACIDS are metabolized to ALKALINE which helps neutralize the lactic acid, but its better is the body can recycle the lactic acid. Plenty of filtered water also

and fresh beet juice has been shown to increase cardio endurance by about 10%

If his MRI took place at the scheduled time of 10am, then it's already been enough time for them to know if it was anything serious. At this point, no news is good news.

Drinking pickle juice to help get rid of cramps has been around for a long time.. trainers had me doing that during high school and college ball over 10 years ago. Especially when younger athletes hit major growth spurts they recommend it to help relieve the calves and hamstrings from cramping.

Translated from French: slight "stretch" of hamstring.. he will see tomorrow how he feels and hopes to play

Edit: this is probably a small hamstring strain.. I would think he'll be ready to play tomorrow

Slight Elongation = Overstretched Hamstring = Strained Hamstring
He didn't give us a Grade, so I hope it's relatively minor.
