Pop doesn't seem impressed by Baynes at all. I remember reporters asked him after the GS game if he saw what he liked from Baynes and he said , "not very much."
Bonner has the spacing down as a function of having been in the system for so many years. That's what Pop calls the 'corporate knowledge', which is of considerable value on the offensive end. Plus you are right that Baynes is never going to be an outside threat, so Bonner is going to be preferable in some of these situations.

LOL at Boris trying to go top shelf on that
lol Boston announcers denying obvious foul
Manu has had some great passes tonight
The bench is just too much fun to watch.
This offense is humming like it did during our epic win streak in late 2011 season
Bonner is +10 for the game though
Yes Tiago!!!
How manytimes have you miss that shot for not dunking!!! YES!!!!!
It's almost impossible to defend the Spurs second offense. Too much spacing, too many shooters IMO.
You mean 2012 right?
Baynes should fit better in a team more tolerant with turnovers. And I think the spurs game is a bit complicated for him.
he's thinking 2011-2012 i think
It also helps that they are playing against other teams' second string, which is not as talented as ours.
We sucked going into the playoffs that year, irrc
Old man acting like he was seriously injured by the ball lol
