yall...it's a ncie day...i'm finna go jack off will be right back...
hey numnuts...I will once Buss starts doing what I theorize...
Don't forget about the first rounder Orlando gets from the Howard trade.
I already explained to you how this works. Refute my points line by line or admit you're wrong. Again.
being dumber than a short guy & your idol raping your dreams/franchise
Just doesn't make sense signing him this quick. They have ample time to assess the situation and determine Kobe's value by the off season. Lakers also miss on the opportunity to go after trades before the deadline, with so little cap space left.
Jesus Christ.
You don't need cap space to make trades, you ing bum. This is what happens when you root for a team that stays out of the loop.
I just can't bring myself to defend either side... the 5-timer or the front office.
I hope 5-4 lives on.
NO, you misunderstood and you completely miss the point. Generally, when teams make trades by mid season, finances , like any legitimate business are taken into consideration. Kobe taking almost half of the cap space limits any future moves they have, they're buried so deep in penalties which makes every dollar count. And Cap space is always part of the equation, I can't believe you made that statement.![]()
you tried and failed....you just rendered an opinion that is wrong par the course
no. the only thing hindering the lakers from making trades is their ty assets. the only real tradeable piece is pau, but his huge salary makes it tough for a deal to actually go through
No, what? Why do you think some potential trades doesn't go through? It's because the numbers doesn't work.
wow... what did the rich man say to the beggar when the beggar offered his advice?
getting 24 mil a year
what are the Lakers thinking, tbh? They sign the extension before even seeing how Kirby plays after his achilles tear, and they already used up their amnesty provision
this will end well...
You're thinking by the book, I was talking long term.
if Kobe had come back and dropped 20ppg in his first 3 games, you can bet his asking price would have been closer to twice over 24 mil
good business decision from both sides.
That not true, Jordan Hill plus Blake and Meeks who are expiring can net them a decent return.
, tbh.
imo Rose's knee exploding is what triggered Kobe to seek finalizing the deal and a lower asking price.
yall all need to get off Kobe's ... just got paid now it's time to win one more chip...
Kobe just a sent a message to Lebron, Durant, Wade, et al....
I got 5 rings and you s still can't get paid like me ;-)
This is probably true, it's the only thing that makes sense. They've seen him in practice, have his medical reports, etc.
So the Kirbs camp was "$48m now or $66m when I come back and lead the league in scoring (on 35 FGA a game)".
And Fredo was like "Mitch?"
And Mitch was like "DO IT!"
And so it was done.
