FOXBORO (CBS) – New England Patriots linebacker Brandon es’ placement on Injured Reserve this past Monday was not because of an injury, but because he missed a team practice the previous Friday during a snow storm, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported.
The IR designation ended es’ season just days before the team was set to host its playoff opener at Gillette Stadium.
es had been battling a knee injury for more than two months, and it was reported that he had aggravated the injury in the regular-season finale against the Bills. However, Mortensen reports that the injury was not bad enough to put the linebacker on IR.

He's clearly done in New England and he's such a one dimensional player I don't care. He can't cover for while both Fletcher and Collins are smarter and more athletic.

Looks like a blessing in disguise tbh. LB's looks way better with Collins. If es was in there Fleener would have 100 yds already. I guess Belichick knew what he was doing.

The safety save the patriots 1-5 points. With a very high probability of it being 5. The only thing bad was that the punter was fortunate for the safety to occur. The outcome was ideal.
