you forgot about patrick mills
lmao upstairs ing about this win when we're trotting 10-day contracts and DLeague players out there
you forgot about patrick mills
which is why the team is getting nuked over the next two seasons tbh.

Don't worry Cub you'll have plenty more opportunities to play Donkey Kong with those barrels this season.

You should worry about the team as a whole.
Tony is just a small piece in this cluster .
Team is in bad shape, Tony or no Tony. Fact.
Though without him you're light 3 and this Board doesn't even exist. Ponder that you spoiled asshole, you.
You're buying this "hero ball" - "enrique" malarkey too, Shad? Don't you have a lick of sense?

Lakerfan scapegoating Pau makes infinitely more sense than Spurfan scapegoating Parker, tbh.
u know the system is ed up when u have 2 way players on your team force to play some bull role, just to keep the 3 tosb happy
I'm actually one of the few that isn't.
Though he does tend to be a little untrusting of his teammates at times. I'm 50/50 on him. Not here nor there really.
how come he didnt rebound like that for game 6 finals...
fck all these enrique fans on his again after 3 straight losses...how fast these idiots forget
Don't know about that.
Just for the simple fact that bigs are more valuable than point guards.
I was so ready to crown Parker after the Memphis series and the Game 1 in Miami, but he faded after that Game 3 where he supposedly got injured.
Parker has never cost the Spurs a series, like Manu (twice), but other than that Memphis series, he's never taken over a later round playoff series (and no, I'm not going to count the '07 Finals).
Him and Pau are basically mirror images. Great number 2's, but not consistently great enough to carry a contender as the main guy.
i will list the recent series where his been made to be a
conley 4-0 sweep
trying to get into westbricks head WCF, spurs up 2-0 gets backdoor sweep cause he help awaken the frog
dont tell me his off the court bs with barrys ex also didnt play a part in the spurs preperation for the playoffs,
lol mario chalmers taking a on him in the finals...
lol telling the media/heat how to stop green
im rooting for Tony. Heck, we need his best version to do anything close to what we did last season.
This season's version is just way too awful. Hopefully there's still time for him to turn a corner.
True, although I blame Pau for 2011. Yeah, the whole team underperformed against Dallas, but he was straight assraped in his matchup and embarrassed himself with his emo play. People forget how truly awful that Hornets team was that we played in the first round too--should've been a sweep if not for him getting owned by Aaron Gray. When you make 3 straight Finals trips you need to conserve your fuel by taking care of the ty teams you're supposed to.
Thankfully, Kobe's posterizing of Okafor changed that series for good, but the damage was done. Then we overreacted by alienating Odom so fast in the offseason. Despite how good they were I still feel that those Lakers had game left in them for another run. Having those 3 bigs made us a nightmare matchup for every team...kinda feel cheated and unfulfilled from the Kobe/3-bigs teams.
Even though he didn't take over the series, Parker was hitting clutch shots in the Finals and put you in a position to ring in game 6. Those back to back buckets and a steal with one minute to go almost sealed the deal before his teammates started choking.
disappear for the whole game, hitting 2 shots after enrique mode or clutch 2 baskets...if his that good why the need to go enrique mode or clutch moment? spurs were up all game till he went for his own individual goals...
mvp candidate top 5 pg in the league gettin shut down by a scrub name chalmers
thats BS.. they put lebron on him
He also went 6-23 in that game. Then he followed it up with a stellar 3-12 performance in Game 7.
Who gives a about "clutch" shots? If Parker doesn't play like that whole game, the Spurs win by 7-10 points. I don't get the logic of "forgiving" a player who plays like total the entire game, is the reason the game is close, and then lucks in a fadeway and we're supposed to forget how terrible he was. If Parker was just average in Game 6, the Spurs win by 3 possessions.
I'm not going to necessarily scapegoat him since his brilliance in the Memphis series and his Game 1 performance was a big reason the Spurs were half-a-minute from number 5, but he deserves to shoulder some blame along with the key culprits Manu and Pop.
Finally, a coherent post from you this year.
