Dude every sport in the world evolved from Britain. Be it motorsports, Soccer, Baseball, Badminton, Racket ball, Ping Pong, Tennis, Rugby, Golf, Snooker, cricket, ice hockey, boxing, polo and etc.

Not bad for a country smaller than Uzbekistan.
And yet we still suck at all of these except maybe motorsports and boxing

American football is by far the hardest sport of all to play. Like CN said, there are tons of complex formations and strategies. Povertyball doesn't include any of that.

Complex "strategies" in soccer include "parking the bus", "attack the ride or left side!," etc

Moving for 11 minutes of a 2 & half hour match is hard?

    67 minutes - standing around
    17 minutes - replays
11 minutes - actual playing time
    3 seconds - cheerleaders

Only Americans are gullible enough to fall for this

In America, soccer is the "sport" that little kids play until they get the brainpower necessary to play real sports like football and basketball

Povertyball fans trying to claim it's more complex than football

Yeah, scoring against an 11 man team featuring the most athletic players on earth is a tough feat in and of itself. It's a wonder these offenses even score. American football has evolved so much over the decades. Can't say the same about medieval povertyball.

I agree. Which is why football completely outclasses american football.

We're talking about coaching and you're deflecting to TV broadcasts

I'd be hopping on the povertyball bandwagon too if my team's quarterback was Newton....

This isn't a soccer player. Just some supporter or coaching staff member.
Ronaldo in his last days as a professional was the fattest player I've ever seen. And he was a rare talent with tremendous skills playing in a ty championship.

Some soccer players are faster than any NBA player. Most of the soccer players have better vertical than most of the NBA player. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo can reach 30.7086614 inches of vertical impulsion, Arjen Robben can reach 22.9907341 miles/hour in a sprint.
I don't like soccer, I think it make people dumb and nationalistic. But there are lots of bull here.
Lol this is pure bull tbh

A 30 inch vertical is not impressive for any professional athlete (NBA, NFL, whatever). It's ok

22 miles an hour is fast for an average man your right. For an athlete, no it's not elite speed
