If you want to give your phone the dimensions of a brick, sure.

Granted, people in construction sites and the like would benefit from Defenders, but they're overkill for the vast majority of users.

I tend to favor Diztronic TPU cases myself. Cheap, slim, decent drop protection, has a lip to keep the screen from touching the surface when placed screen-down.

The Defender has never failed me. Granted that it's expensive and it has kept my Note phones from being pocketable at all (unless I'm wearing super baggy clothes which is never outside of the house), but it's value for your $60.

Plus it keeps me from actually having to buy a man-purse...

    Note 1 - White
    Note 2 - Gray
    Note 3 - White

I'm settling for nothing less than gold for my Note 4 but I might consider pink...

I hate the feel of screen protectors
Go for the matte-finish screen protectors, not the gloss. They're more fingerprint friendly and matte is not a to look at in direct sunlight unlike gloss.

I read an article about the bending yesterday, apparently some mooks keep their phone in their back pocket and don't take it out when they sit down, wtf? at phones bending in skinny jean pockets.

No one will know it's pink when I put it in an Otterbox defender anyway.

    putting it in back pockets

These dimwits are asking for it when they put their phones in the back pocket of their skinny jeans. Any phone will bend in that pressure.

It becomes a 6.2" phone from 5.7" but you will never worry about throwing it around and/or dropping it

otterbox has top notch customer service too in my experience. I cracked my commuter taking it off my 5s and they had a new one at my house in two days. Didn't have the receipt but I just had to take a pic of the silicone sleeve's stamps and upload it.

tbh, I always preferred the iPhone 4 all-glass build anyways... that was one ing sturdy phone...
Tbh, I always liked the bumpers Apple made for the iPhone 4.... luckily, I was able to find a third-party bumper that looked pretty much the same when I upgraded to the 5....
I loved my 4s, that was a tank. I put in a anium back that looked better the more you used it and scratched it up; I just put on a bumper to protect the sides and that was it. I don't think you can install customizable backs on the 6/6 plus...could be wrong though. I don't care about thickness as long as it's protected.

I'm really hoping Alpha listens to all the mouth breathers who just had to get a new 6 right off the bat and were the guinea pigs for the rest of us, so they can implement all the fixes in the 6S or whatever the it's called.
