58-49.
Timmaaayyyy. Solid first half, should be up by more though.
Wish TP just take it easy... Just try 3s instead where he's good now... Or he'll be on DNP again
Timmy !! Buzzer-beater
He'll be out of the league in 3 years or so broke probably...![]()
Parker, you got your fifteen minutes of playing time , now sit the rest of this one out.
Timmy w/ 2 solid shots at the end, but our guards are really hanging him out to dry on the pnr, leaving him in no man's land.
Why not?
It was pretty much a blowout with like 6 minutes before the half. The starting 5 today are blowing....minus timmy and tiago
He's played more than I thought he would already.
Pathetic end to the half. Come on.
I'm sure all of Pop's yes men told him it was a good idea to take the bench out in those final three minutes.
Don't need two primary ball handlers. Why not have Manu handle the bench unit like usual?
when TP was healthy, they used to play together a lot
The game got off to a quick start because of TP guys. What he adds to the offense is undebatable. His motion, threat to penetrate, and outside shot completely draw the defense. Yes the starters (all of them, not just TP who the hater s on this site like to hate) played poorly to end the half, but these are the same starters that just won a ring. Give them a break.
And give TP a break for being a little rusty. Holy you s need to turn in your Spurs fan cards. What gay bar did you all come from?
Yeah I know, especially in fourth quarters, but usually Manu would handle the ball handling in the second unit without Tony.
That said, I don't have any complaints with the way the bench is playing today.
Just watch Detroit run to start the 3rd and make this a real game
I don't get why Pop went with Bonner... Tiago could help inside
Spurs had a 18 point lead(with 3:44 to go to halftime) until TP checked back in with the starters and ed it all up. Piss poor game all around from him. I wish his contract wasn't so awful so the Spurs could trade him - SA plays much better when Parker isn't on the floor. Joseph's already eclipsed him as a point guard.
What's with the starters, mental or physical. Like in the Boston game: starting 5 were (-)40 and bench was (+)50 or something.
Missed the first half. what happened?
"Our 5-man lineup changes will wear them out by the 4th quarter"
I think it is amazing how Ginobili can zip all over the court at his age.
The starters trying their best to keep this game close, tbh. lol Pop loves taking the bench out when the lead starts becoming too big.
Be patient.
