All joking aside, you should just go with your gut instinct. Approach her and just be yourself. You want her to go out with you and the last thing you need is a pick up line from one of us. Unless you're just looking for a one nighter but I'm gathering that you really like her. If you pretend from the get go you may have to pretend just for her to continue to want to go out with you again.

More help. Does the following events mean she likes me or just a friend or not enough to tell?
-says hi everytime we see each other on the halls, although she says hi to EVERYONE. That's her personality. She's super nice.
-asked me to dance at prom even though she's not my date and my date was next to me.
-we have small talk sometimes when we do see each other
-at the first day of school, we both kind of ignored each other.
