All the Cubs had to do in 2003 was win 1 of 3 games, we all know how that turned out!
I'm sure they will. Just be patient!

Lidge has not been the dominant closer lately as he was during the regular season. I would have liked to see Wheeler come back in the 9th as he did great getting his 2 batters out in the 8th, and bring in Lidge only if they had to. Why take out a hot pitcher?
Because Lidge is their best pitcher out of the bull-pen no matter what people say. He ed up, just have to get over it and hope the Stros win 1 of the next 2.
Which happenned faster...
a) Pujols ball getting out of there
b) Lackeys stripping off the plastic and removing the Champagne bottles from the 'Stros locker room.
I am a 'Stros fan, but I couldn't resist the question
Pujols' shot was a cartoon. It's not possible for anything to really go that far that fast.
The only more impressive ones I've seen were 1)Reggie Jackson in the 1971 All-Star game at Tiger Stadium, and 2) Roy Hobbs at Knight Field.
According to the WOAI news at 5:00, today Don Harris feels the same. He aired the clips back to back.
