You may not be thinking of me... I liked him coming out of Clemson, but I have seen almost none of the A-Spurs games. I thought he could be developed as a SF, but apparently PATFO saw him as a leaner DeJuan Blair.

I don't remember names and honestly I don't have the intention to call out anyone high on him. there's some guys that watched some dleague games and I didn't watch them this year. I do know the team was good and won the GLeague le but I didn't watch them.

Thought he had developed more as a perimeter player, but so far no.

My dream scenario would have been getting both him and doncic and for aldridge and leonard and starting over. I think as philly and boston have both shown, the best way to build a contender going forward is to have multiple players outperforming their contracts. Once you have multiple players on their second contracts, your window to significantly improve the team has basically closed and if you're a treadmill team, you may as well start over. As it stands, makes no sense to field treadmill team with the Spurs' current roster.

Nobody would have given a top 10 pick for Aldridge. Great player but wouldn’t have happened.

Nobody would have given a top 10 pick for Aldridge. Great player but wouldn’t have happened.

My original thought was Aldridge +/- #18 for Parsons + #4. Would have allowed the Grizzlies to make a deeper playoff run and Aldridge fits with the timetable of Conley and Gasol.
