They'll be back in the Super Bowl, per par. And Scam Newton will be watching the Super Bowl from home, per par.
Though KC could be interesting. Their defense sucks, but they could do just about as much as the Eagles did last Super Bowl. Then they have Justin Houston, Chris Jones and Eric Berry who could make a huge crunch time game winning play on defense... Chiefs 38-31 or something

he doesnt throw with anticipation. needs his receivers to break open so he can see a clear passing lane. its why he never had good rapport with dez who could still win back shoulder, contested throws despite his lack of separation.

so you are banking on beasley and hurns to flat out win and get open. then you factor in dak's accuracy, which is... average-ish. he'll miss throws here and there.

he's going to have to game manage while zeke carries the offense and they run play action to get guys open. this constant shotgun and let dak go to work mentality is their demise.
solid analysis. That's why they went out and got hurns, austin and thompson, drafted gallup -- they're all known for their separation and route running rather than size or talent to win the 50-50 ball. And thus let go of Dez and are close to cutting Terrance Williams; those guys rely on being big and able to catch balls in traffic.

    It's week 3.

They started out 1-2 in 2014 after getting massacred in Kansas City in week 3. Ended up finishing 12-4 and winning the Super Bowl.

They started 2-2 last year, finished 13-3 and almost won the SB again.

Just too early to call anything, but I wouldn't bet against Tommy Boy. They'll be getting Edelman back soon, and who knows what impact Gordon will make.
if they get back to the SB it's because they padded wins in their division of re s like they have the last decade. no overall #1 seed = no sb. like i said if cheatriots had been in the NFC instead they wouldn't have been able to pad wins and would be a few rings lighter. put the powerhouse NFC teams in a re division like AFC East and they would have multiple superbowls too

    That's the key point.

Patriots haven't won a road playoff game since 2006. Which is about the last point where they had an above average defense.

It takes offense to win at home, but it takes defense to win on the road. Every time they've had to play on the road in the playoffs since, they come up short, including three times to good old friend Peyton. Tommy Boy needs home cooking to win when it counts. If they have to play in Jacksonville, Florida in January in 80 degree heat + humidity, Tommy is toast.

what does that change what i said about them not making the playoffs in the NFC this year? i knew AFC East was a joke when we swept them with ease last year despite losing 5 games to NFC teams. 12 games against NFC teams a year instead of 4 means cheatriots dynasty would have ended 10 years ago and tom would have retired already

hurns is garbage. he had one good year as a deep ball specialist and has been mediocre other than that. dont know about gallup but he's not ready to be an impact player. cowboys didnt improve their WR corpse this offseason

Garrett is a pre programmed robot so this will never happen, but the best option at this point is for the Cowboys to adopt a primarily read-option based offense ala the Lynch Seahawks, Kaepernick 49ers, and Panthers.

They follow the same checklist as these three teams. Mobile QB, subpar passer, subpar receivers (except maybe SF), great RB, and strong defense. I know it's a gimmick, but it's really the only way to maximize what they currently have with this group. If they were to actually get Earl Thomas and run this effectively (rofl a pipe dream) then I could actually see them fighting for a playoff spot with how inconsistent the NFC is as a whole

Don't worry 'Boys fans. The media won't on you guys too long tomorrow.

They'll be too busy kissing Tiger Woods' ass all day.
That game was a loss and we all knew it. Going into Seattle and they were 0-2. You just aren't gonna beat their home cooking.

Tbh, that kind of gimmick offense is fine for a fluke playoff appearance, but since it does nothing for the Cowboys' franchise longterm, I can't say I'd blame Garrett for not doing it if I was a Cowboys fan.

What Dallas really needs to do is admit that Dak sucks and start tanking for Justin Herbert, Will Grier or Drew Lock.

Yeah, The Cycle was fun while it lasted, but it's time for Jameis to come back and silence the haters, tbh.

Do you think Jameis has done what it takes to get a 100 million dollar contact next year?

I wouldn't pay him that much yet based on what he's shown, but I do still think he has the potential to actually deserve that kind of money. I'm probably the only one outside of Bucs fans at this point, though.

Okay. How bout this. What about next year only. If we keep him on the roster he's guaranteed 20 million. Would you pay him that much?

I sure as wouldn't. He cant leave soon enough IMO. He does not win games. Plain and simple. He's the worst QB in the division and it's not even close.
