Pop did a pretty good job of eliminated Murray's confidence. Now the Spurs are left with a blindfolded Antonio Daniels. Great.

Murray usually feasts against LeBron teams. Expected more from him tonight, tbh.
Or maybe, just maybe, he’s not as great as people on here hyped him up to be. I’m not trying to turn this into another White vs Murray thing, but it’s evident DJ is still raw in some aspects of his game. Stuff he can still improve on for sure but I hope he shows consistently at some point he’s worth 64 million.

Overall, a decent first half for the Spurs. If they played this way against teams that weren't the best teams in the NBA, they wouldn't be 6-11.

Yes but you act like Murray is a big time player and he only has about 5 good games every year. He’s underperforming.
This is his this season... What opportunities did he have his first two? Dude was barely playing... He would make one mistake and be benched for games on end... Even when Parker was put on the bench, pop kept benching him randomly... Wonder why wizards fans like Davis even tho u guys were bashing him constantly? Because he has a coach that plays him in a consistent role and doesn't randomly bench him

Murray has looked lost on offense a lot this season.
he doesn't know how to fit in... the team has run so much better with White starting. White's skillset has been meshing a lot better cause he's a better spacer and can blend better. Also not playing Beli was a needed albeit obvious adjustment. Playing Demarre and Trey to fill spots helped raise the floor of the performance.

That was a clean block by LeBron, tbh.
Replay looked like the ball passed into the cylinder to me when Lebron hit it. Too close to cry about it though. Murray knew that was coming and should have dunked it.

So the key for Belinelli to get benched was to heat up offensively? Interesting strategy but I'll accept it

Murray makes terrible decision in the fast break. He had Aldridge for an easy dunk ... but passes it to Forbes who tries to draw a foul on DeRozan.
Haha I thought it was on Dj. Either way that was funny.

    Bryn wtf

This tbh... He simply doesn't look confident... This constant benching isn't good for a young player that's supposed to be the leader of a team... U have to allow him to go through growing pains... It's not like we winning a ring anytime soon... We may not even make the playoffs

He still has the highest ceiling on the team, IMO. But his floor is among the lowest. He's disappointed to be sure and has earned his demotion...but not over Forbes. A White and Murray backcourt is still ideal.

he's fine but it looks like he's playing guilty. He needs to just start off blending in with the offense first before he works for s om. He'll figure it out. But as far as winning is concerned White has more experience with the team and in general.

Murray NEVER made a play that stupid... But Forbes is better? Why? Literally the ONLY thing he does better is shoot... The guy is ass... He gives up more points per fame than he scores
Forbes knows how to pass, dribble, an shoot better than Murray. Murray just played defense better on occasions. An last time I checked, shooting is a major part of basketball. Especially in a league where real defense isn't allowed anymore.

Who is this McDonald fellow. That take would make Professor Obvious blush.

Anyway great first half by the good guys. Hanging with HGH and the best team in the league with really only Carroll having a below average outing.
