Too many people nitpicking. Spurs won against a good team on the road. Theyve beaten Milwaukee and two of the top teams in the east on the road recently. Brightest moment of a pretty meh season

To finish the 3rd spurs tried out zone D. Raptors had no answer for it . Pop continued with into 4th. Top team effort o minus Bryn. That was key, they got stops instead of trading baskets.

that DeRozan dunk was definitely the turning point. Whole team woke up after that. White was great, hope we see this D. White more often. That looked like White from last season

Bad tasting win. Spurs were outplayed on offense and defense for large stretches of this game, and it was the Raptors being cold and not any impressive outing by Spurs that got them a flukey win. Worst of all, Marco took Lonnie's second half minutes and actually made a big shot. Watching this team is very hard tbh
    LOL what the ?

Pop went to a zone that worked really well. They attacked the rim really well. This is ing idiocy. That was a GREAT win on the road against a good team. lol bad tasting win. STFU.

1st round exit but people really want that meaningless playoff streak to continue
Playoff experience goes a long ways with the younger guys.

in any parallel universe this victory would not have happened, this win really makes no sense, Spurs was completely dominated and a zone with Marco and Mills on the court simply recovered the difference.

It does not matter. We have seen upsets before. We have seen top teams get bad injuries in the first round. Heck, we were once 1st seed and on the last game of the season, Manu breaks his elbow and Grizzlies beat us. But we know for sure we don't go far if we are not there.

Lonnie looked out of control a few times tonight when attacking the basket. He makes some good reads & some bad ones which is to be expected. I wish he'd just pull the trigger more when he's wide open for 3.

White looked totally serious out there, and it looked good.

Lonnie should play ahead of Belli 99.9% of the time. That was a good coaching move by Pop. The zone didn't allow Belli to get exposed and they spread the floor eally well for White and Derozan. That was just goo coaching there.

I don't know why you guys don't think this makes sense. Raptors were hot from the outside. Spurs were ice cold from the outside. Spurs played a defense that limited Raptors to contested jumpers and they cooled off. Spurs attacked the rim ruthlessly (count the number of dunks FFS) and closed the gap.

It was an excellent adjustment. Its not that hard, but the Raptors just had no answer for the zone and they couldn't stop the Spurs penetration.

    Flukey win my ass.

The entire team gets D's, except for Forbes and Pop who get B+.
Lma should get an f. So should walker, who was outplayed by Belli.

I feel you but let’s be realistic. Manu isn’t coming through that door and this team doesn’t stand a chance at the championship. Wins against the Bucks, Celtics, and Raptors is nice, but don’t get me wrong I rather see Lonnie turn it over 3 times in crunch time than Marco hit 1-3 clutch shots. It’s a process and Marco is completely irrelevant to the future and the process.

exactly. And yeah that was great coaching. Even playing Beli over Walker for that stretch made perfect sense. And Pop subbed Walker back in on defensive posessions, where he then got the rebound.

we need that type of Derrick White more often. Kid's Bball IQ is just on another level, he makes great decisions with the ball in his hands, but he has to be in attack mode for it to really show

For us Walker fans very pleased that coach went with him for defense in the last 40 seconds. He could've gone with Murray. Walker is slowly earning his stripes

Lonnie was great at the end of the game on the defensive possessions. Clutch rebound and outlet pass

Should have gone with Murray, too. But, no, we needed Patty on D.
