He really is dumb he thought TJ Warren was a great piece.
I used spend a lot of weekends there and at the library across the street when internet was first becoming a thing.
Tbf it is a school. I never realized it when I went but when I was looking to buy a house the ratings of schools came up and its rated a 1/10 by like every site that does those ratings.
There's some decent neighborhoods though. You just have to be familiar with the area and know which areas to stay away from.
Pop was right and should play those guys from here on out. DDR is opting in so you can't do too big of a remake.
So the winning team, blows out a team with a HOF coach and the winning team fired the coach???? Meanwhile, mgmt signs 1 injury prone headcase and a player out for the year with ACL and nobody questions that move.
Meanwhile, Aron Baynes dropped 37 points last night on the Blazers. The one that got away, tbh...
i been saying that for two seasons. spur fan act like he and white all star in the making when they are just okay, role players on just about any other team in the league. we wouldn't even know their names if they didn't play in san antonio![]()
We'll be much better next year. I was upset a few months ago, but only because I'm not used to an off year. Since I've been a fan we've been competing (2004ish) but every team goes through this. And I actually think our future & potential looks a LOT better than most teams' the FIRST "tank" year.
It is what it is. Once LA and Demar are gone, I think it will look a lot better. We have two career losers as our "stars" and because everyone thinks of them as good players our expectations were higher. But this was a dud year from the get go.
Last year was an anomaly because the west wasn't that tough at all. You had young talent budding last year but ESPECIALLY this year. Really Denver was the only "young talent" team that were "contenders" (even though they weren't) because Trail Blazers are a joke. We had just traded one of the top superstars of the West to the East (Kawhi) and replaced him with an empty stats scrub (Demar) and Lebron was actually playing injured a lot of the year (something people aren't really mentioning when talking about Toronto's chip) and of course the superteam dubs

Hammon's been the Spurs summer league coach multiple times before, and even coached the team to a championship in 2015. She's been elevated to the top assistant coaching job in San Antonio, and has studied under the greatest coach in the league. She has the tools to be a great coach, and if anything should definitely be on the shortlist of candidates that the Nets consider.

So now nets beat lakers
Can't disagree with a lot of that, except that Becky isn't the lead assistant. When Pop got ejected, he said Tim was in charge. When Pop was out a game, he put Tim in charge. Tim played it very nicely, saying it was coaching by committee, but he's the next up on that bench. I'm also not so sure that Pop was the greatest coach in the league by the time Becky started, but that's splitting hairs.
Becky is actually in a precarious position, IMO. If things continue to go to in SA, and anyone other than her takes over for Pop, she's going to have a much harder time getting her shot to be the first woman head coach. Not saying she shouldn't. But it's a lot easier getting that first HC job when coming from a very successful team.
