There is no silverlining. They're not doing this because they acknowledge anything. They're just using it as a vehicle to get rid of of him. As soon as Cuomo is out they'll pretend Covid is just like the flu.

IIRC Desantis pretty much did something similar and kept or immediately opened nursing homes up as cases were surging in Florida.

Cuomo should resign over his pervy behavior more so then fact he lied about deaths. Lying or not, those deaths were going to occur so lying was an unforced error by him.

I honestly couldn't care less about Cuomo, but I don't pay much attention to NY state policy. Not like conservatives get to pick the next NY Governor.
